They’re super generic but not bad as a simple mode of transportation.

Rebuilt Title and automatic.......

I’m aware of both of these facts. Rebuilt title doesn’t bother me and an auto is a requirement.

My current ride is a silver Ford Taurus so generic is right up my alley.

Korean manuals are nothing to write home about. They tend to be vague and mushy feeling.

Yeah, you can feel like a star in a reasonably-priced car!!!

I guess it’s a good deal if you don’t need a sunroof

I actually dislike sunroofs.

My grandfather had one in this horrible dark red. It wasn’t a bad car but I couldn’t live with one tbh. Nothing bad about generic cars as long as they do what they are supposed to do: being a reliable and comfortable dd

Yeah, I imagine insurance could total out one of these with relatively minimal damage. Definitely worth looking into - that's a pretty decent deal and a useful vehicle.

Yeah, it doesn’t take much cosmetic damage to total a car nowadays.

I would recommend a silver Mercury Milan

The manual in the Elantra Touring (in SE trim anyway) was actually fairly well liked by several auto journalists at the time (as was the entire car).

WHAT? :p

But yeah, the Touring is a cool car with lots of space and low running costs and good mileage, plus it is the US version of the cee’d for top gear cred haha (their other reasonably priced car, the Aerio, wasn’t available with a sunroof, although it did have a cool digital dash)

Yeah I dunno they’re all glarey and a waste of headroom imo.

The Elantra Touring may have been an anomaly, however, since it was effective a “European” import (at least in design).
